How do I reroll traits in Anime Origins?

Open Areas from the right-side menu, choose Trait Reroll, walk to the NPC, select the unit, and press Reroll. Release coverage reports that a unit can store two traits while only one is active, so check which slot is equipped before spending another reroll.

Basic damage, cooldown, and range traits

FamilyIIIIII
Fury+5% damage+10% damage+15% damage
Haste-5% cooldown-7.5% cooldown-12.5% cooldown
Reach+5% range+10% range+15% range

These are straightforward fallback rolls. Fury suits damage dealers, Haste improves attack frequency and status application, and Reach helps units cover long or split paths.

Rupture+30% crit chance, +35% crit damageCrit-scaling carry
OverseerBroad stat boosts plus bonus true damageGeneral endgame carry

The launch list also includes Stride, which builds cooldown-reducing Tempo while attacking, and Joker, which changes stat modifiers from wave to wave. Those traits need a stable attacking window or tolerance for variance.

What about Immortal?

Immortal is the launch Secret trait reported with very large damage, cooldown, range, and income bonuses, a one-unit placement limit, and a once-per-match base-saving effect after wave 10. Because it changes team structure and is not a normal general-purpose roll, read the full current trait panel before building around it.

Best trait by unit role

Main damage carry

Prioritize damage, cooldown, critical scaling, boss damage, or a balanced roll. Ace is a strong general result; Ascendant is more specialized for boss work; Rupture depends on the unit’s crit interactions.

Damage-over-time unit

Decay is designed around damage-over-time. Haste or Ace can still be useful when the unit’s effect benefits from more frequent attacks.

Stun or control unit

Cooldown and range are often more valuable than a small damage increase. More attacks can create more control attempts, while range keeps the target inside the unit’s coverage.

Income unit

Hustler and Looting directly support economy. Do not put a premium carry trait on a unit whose job is to produce cash unless its kit genuinely uses those combat stats.

Leveling unit

Scholar is a progression roll, not an endgame damage choice. Use it during experience farming and switch only when the unit needs combat performance.

Where do Trait Rerolls come from?

Launch sources show rerolls coming from gameplay rewards, quests, daily systems, and current codes. The Anime Origins codes page includes launch codes that award Trait Rerolls.
